Billings, Mont. – April 9, 2026 – NorthWestern Energy is proud to recognize Community Relations Manager Molly Schwend and Community Relations Specialist Shaye Skovgaard as Champions of Change for the company’s Billings Division, as part of United Way of Yellowstone County’s annual workplace giving campaign.

United Way Yellowstone County Campaign Champions are the individuals who drive workplace campaigns forward within their organizations.

United Ways play a critical role in the communities NorthWestern Energy serves by bringing together businesses, nonprofits, and volunteers to address local needs. Through funding, collaboration, and strategic partnerships, United Ways support programs that strengthen education, promote financial stability, improve access to health and human services, and respond to challenges facing families and individuals across the region.

In 2025, NorthWestern Energy employees donated more than $93,000 to local United Ways across the company’s service territory. To further amplify that impact, NorthWestern Energy matched employee contributions with more than $46,000 in additional company support.

Last year NorthWestern Energy provided more than $2.1 million in donations, sponsorships, and other support for the communities we serve, where our employees work, live and raise their families, including more than $586,000 in donations to organizations in recognition of our employees’ volunteerism.
